🔹 Juan’s Mindset Method: The Heart of SEL Dance, the method integrates Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) with dance to foster emotional intelligence, resilience, and mindfulness. A unique program designed to support students’ mental health, physical well-being, and academic performance. Focuses on developing positive mindset, emotional regulation, and body awareness through dynamic movement and dance.
🧠 Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
Our SEL curriculum is based on the CASEL 5 Core Competencies and is aligned with California’s Social-Emotional Learning Guiding Principles and the California Department of Education’s Whole Child Framework.
🎨 Dance Education Standards (VAPA)
We align with the California Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Standards for Dance, which follow the National Core Arts Standards. Our curriculum provides students with developmentally appropriate opportunities to create, perform, respond to, and connect through dance.
🔬 STEAM Integration
Our programming incorporates Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in Math and ELA through kinesthetic, play-based learning.
